Upcoming Hyperion Upgrade

The upgrade to the new hosted Hyperion environment is coming soon. We are currently working on moving our Hyperion software into a hosted environment provided by Sierra Cedar.  We still have a lot of testing to do, but hope to go live sometime in December.  An ‘Upgrade FAQ’ article has been created which should address a variety of questions that you might have at this point: KB0013698.

Revised HR Expenditures Report

The newly revised “HR Expenditures” prebuilt report is now available to HR users.   This revised report provides filters for pay end date, account, position number or emplid and no longer contains those high maintenance union queries.

This report replaces both the ‘HR Expenditures by Emplid’ and the ‘HR Expenditures by Account’ reports.  If anyone still wants to use those older versions, they have been moved into the ‘Deprecated Queries’ folder and renamed with a ‘Historic’ prefix.

PS9.2 Upgrade

Some of the reports in My Reports may be affected by the PS9.2 upgrade due to changes in some of the data warehouse tables.  We have documented these tables and the list can be found here (see link below if link does not work)

If you encounter any problems with any My Reports reports after the change has been implemented (scheduled for 2/10), the following help article will help in resolving some of the potential issues:   https://asu.service-now.com/kb_view.do?sysparm_article=KB0011007

If you still need assistance modifying an existing report in My Reports, please submit a ticket to the My Reports team.  To enter in a request for service, or to report an incident, simply go to My ASU and click on the “Service” Tab, and click on “Submit a Request” and search for 'My Reports' in the Search Catalog field.

Also, please note that information that comes from PeopleSoft  will not be refreshed between Thursday, 2/5 through Monday, 2/10 due to the HR Upgrade.

ServiceNow for Staff Service Requests

In all of UTO, we are now using a product called ServiceNow to track our work and requests for services.

To request our services, simply go to:https://asu.service-now.com/ess/catalog_content.do?sysparm_content_url=com.glideapp.servicecatalog_cat_item_view.do?sysparm_id=671c4aea3d7b110047cd2eb67a2c3041 (you may be prompted to login).

Or to enter in a request for service, or to report an incident, simply go to My ASU and click on the “Service” Tab, and click on “Submit a Request”.  If you type in My Reports in the Search Catalog field, you’ll find us right away.  This page can be used for all of your UTO needs as well.

Sending an email to myreports@asu.edu will no longer generate a service request, however we will continue to monitor this email address during this intermediate transition time.

Thank you so much!
